Broadmoor

Room to breathe: yards, driveways, and a real-neighborhood calm.

Typically $150K–$500K · Raised bungalows & craftsman homes

I walked through Broadmoor a lot when I lived in Leonidas; it's right there, and the homes pulled me in every time. Bigger lots, raised homes with real yards, tree-lined streets that feel genuinely residential. It has a calm to it that a lot of New Orleans neighborhoods don't.

Broadmoor is for the buyer who wants a suburban feel without actually being in the suburbs. Young families, people with kids, anyone who wants a driveway and a yard and a little breathing room between themselves and their neighbors, but who still wants to be in New Orleans and central to everything. You're okay driving to dinner. You want a place that feels like a real neighborhood, not a scene. Broadmoor delivers that, at a price point that still makes sense for first-time buyers.
